Is Life Worth Living? Ethics in a Climate of Fear (Oxford Studies in Metaethics, v. 4) (with the cooperation of Susan Wolf)
This collection of essays, edited by Susanna Lindtner and Susan Wolf, offers a series of critical overviews of the field of metaethics, which it defines as the general study of moral concepts and theories. With chapters on the concepts of moral responsibility, the meaning and truth of moral claims, and moral value, it offers a critical yet concise guide to recent philosophical debates in ethics. It also provides a compelling account of how metaethics might be used to advance our understanding of normative aspects of social life, and to deal with pressing issues of our time. This volume is a must-have for all those who are interested in the philosophy of ethics, moral psychology, and the philosophy of science.
Bioethics and the Laws of the Land
This book is an in-depth analysis of the contemporary bioethics discourse. Judith Howard and Joelle Leiner, both leading scholars in the field of bioethics, show the influence that laws, both national and international, play on the way bioethics discourse is articulated, discussed, debated, implemented, and applied. By linking the ethics of the bioethics discourse to bioethics in the legal sphere, the authors will make readers re-think the most controversial issues in this rapidly expanding field. This book will appeal to a wide readership including students and scholars of bioethics, bioethics and law, bioethics and law, and bioethics and medicine, as well as to readers in law, philosophy, political science, public health, public policy, and the humanities.

Generally speaking, you cannot trust third-party apps that you download. If you install a new program and want to make sure it is safe, you can always go to the vendor's site and download a trial version.
The only app I have ever had bad experiences with is a cheap antivirus app. It would constantly run in the background, and then report to the vendor that it was infected by viruses, and then it would wipe out all of the programs that you installed.
If you want to play games on your computer, then you should not have to be concerned about malware. It's not a good idea to install a lot of programs unless you're actually doing something with them. You can buy games for $20-30 a piece. Why not buy a game now, and then play it whenever you have some spare time?
